BOONTON TWP. - Thomas D. Schofield died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, in Boonton  Township as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was 45.

Born in Urbana, Ill., he lived in Upper Saddle River for a number of years,  then Lincoln Park for nine years, before moving to Boonton Township five years  ago.

Mr. Schofield was senior vice president of Global Sales for Syndesis Inc.,  Toronto, Canada for the past five years.

Before that, he was employed in the telecommunication industry with AT& T Paradyne, Rochelle Park, for many years.

He received his bachelor's degree in communications from Wittenburg  University, Springfield, Ohio, in 1980.

He was an assistant coach with the Boonton Township / Mountain Lakes  Wrestling Team.

Tom loved life, traveling, gardening and helping his neighbors.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, DeAnn (Hamman); his beloved children,  Scott T., Joseph E. and Eva I.; his parents, Russell E. and Marion (Vogel)  Schofield of Mahwah; his brother, Richard A. of Ellicott City, Md.; and two  sisters, Patricia Abascal of Mahwah and Susan Hains of Silver Spring, Md.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at 10 a.m., at St.  Peter's Episcopal Church, 215 Boulevard, Mountain Lakes. Interment will be  private.

Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Mackey Funeral Home,  107 Essex Ave., Boonton.
