Thomas "Tom" W. Johnson, 57, of Nampa Idaho, died at home on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008.
Tom was born on May 20, 1951 in Meadville, Penn., to Charles A. and Marjorie (Aikman) Johnson. He graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in Missouri in 1969,
and received his college degree from an executive college in Chicago in the 1970s.
Tom worked for Paradyne, Lucent, and Avaya as a very successful computer specialist before retiring in the mid 90's. Those jobs took him to many states
before ending up in Nampa in 2003.
Tom had many special interests, which include NASCAR, pheasant hunting, fly fishing, watching old westerns, photography, bird watching, and was a marksman at
Tom is survived by his daughter Ashley Johnson of Springfield, Mo.; son Adam Johnson of Protem, Mo.; daughter Chrisna Coombes of Bath, England; sister, Jane
Decker of Whitefish, Mont.; brother Chuck Johnson of Tuscon, Ariz.; niece Christina Hundley of Florida; niece Kristy Young of New York City, N.Y.; and two great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
